                                VPN Configuration for Windows 7

VPN Services are used off-campus when you need to connect to on-campus resources.

>Step-1

Click the Start Menu.

>Step-2

open control panel.

>Step-3

Click on Network and Sharing Center.

>Step-4

Click Set up a new connection or network.

>Step-5

Then window will pop up and asking you to Choose a connection option.

>Step-6

Select Connect to a workplace and Click Next.

>Step-7

Then again a window pops up and asking How do you want to connect ?

>Step-8

Click Use my internet connection (VPN).

>Step-9 

Again a window pops up and asking you to Type the Internet address to connect to.

>Step-10

Type the address which you want to connect to and Destination Name too, Click Next.

>Step-11

Then For Username, type your NetID, For Password type your NetID Password or you can select Remember this password if you wish. Leave the Domain field blank, and last Click Connect.




Note:- If you are connected to the Internet, your credentials will be verified and then you will be connected to VPN. Click Close to finish the process.
